I had back surgery 5 months ago after years of back pain. I had great improvement in pain reduction, but still have lingering soreness/stiffness. This chair has solved the problem. I use the chair several times a day. Sometimes I use the programmed settings for overall stress reduction, and sometimes I use the manual setting to isolate on my lower back or shoulders and neck. It is far superior to any chairs I have tried in furniture stores. When the chair arrived one of the caster wheels was broken.
