Wood, leatherette, leather or plastic.  There are many different options for arm rest material in the world of massage chairs.  Each gives a massage chair a different look and it is ultimately a matter of opinion which one looks nicest.  Vinyl and leather arm rests are certainly more comfortable and classic looking where as wooden arm rests tend towards the modern style.
